WMMT is growing more local programming and giving more community members access to WMMT through open-call radio DJ and volunteer training. We are also working to add more remote broadcast options so that neither distance nor accessibility prevent folks from getting involved.

We are building a robust Public Affairs program—one that will serve as a training ground for future Appalachian storytellers and media makers. We plan to continue doing more to lift the voices of our community members and counter the ways that central Appalachians are underserved and misrepresented by mainstream media.

We will continue building local and regional relationships that will enable WMMT to serve our communities in all the ways they deserve.
